Attention Ladies!

You don’t need to own or ride your own Harley
(but it sure is nice) to be a Member of the

H.O.G. Ladies of Harley

Why LOH?
Promoting active participation, by women, in the world of Harley-Davidson is what the Ladies of Harley are all about.  Sometimes sports activities can become dominated by men, i.e., basketball, football, skiing, mountain climbing, track, need I say more.  Since HOG is all about just having family fun, the auxiliary group LOH was formed to provide an avenue for the ladies.  Any woman who's a H.O.G member can join, regardless of whether you have a full or associate membership.

It doesn't matter if you ride your own bike or ride as a passenger, just as long as you enjoy the lifestyle and like having fun!  The members of L.O.H., enjoy group rides and sponsor activities that women and men alike participate in.

How to join LOH?
Ladies, do you have "LOH" on your National H.O.G. card?  Did you know that being a member of Ladies Of Harley is FREE?  It is not, however automatic.  You must contact HOG and tell them you'd like to be a member of LOH.  Just call 1-800-clubhog... OR go to www.hog.com, log into the members only area, then go to Update Membership Profile.  Just click the yes option for LOH and you're done!

Now, how easy was that??

After you've joined, you will receive a LOH embroidered patch and you will also receive an LOH pin each year. AND you can join the local chapter's Ladies of Harley group.

If you like having fun and want to participate with other women in the Ladies of Harley and you are not a Laramie HOG member, click here for information on joining the Laramie HOG Chapter.

All across the country, women are discovering the thrill of riding Harley-Davison motorcycles down the open road.  Whether you've been riding on the back of a Harley and you're ready to move to the front, or you're new to the sport of motorcycling-this information is for you.  Once you've made the decision to climb into the saddle, you'll never look back.  I started out riding on the back of my husband's bike but soon grew bored.  My first bike was a 1992 Sportster that had been lowered to fit me.  I had an absolute blast learning to ride on my  Sporty, but after a couple of years, I wanted to upgrade and bought a 2005 Softail Deluxe which has the lowest seat height in the Harley Davidson lineup and it fits my 5' 2" height just perfect.  Don't let the size of the bikes scare you off, start off with a smaller bike and move up once you are comfortable.

Harley-Davidson and The Harley Owners Group is very proud to have as a part of the organization, The Ladies Of Harley (LOH). Anyone these days who thinks for a minute that a Harley is only a man’s machine must have their head in the sand. Just look around and you will see what we mean…nice, shiny, lean and mean machines with a woman’s right hand on the throttle, left foot on the shifter, a smile on her face as she leans into the next curve in the road.
